Dr. Kyle Wetzlar serves as the finite element modeling subject matter expert in his role as Sr.Engineer at nLIGHT | Nutronics. His current work is primarily focused on optomechanical analysis forhigh energy laser systems. Dr. Wetzlar has been using COMSOL for nearly a decade, reaching backto the start of his graduate studies, with simulation efforts ranging from multiferroic nano systems,to electrically small magnetoelectric antennas, and most recently to multiphysical sources of opticalwave front error in directed energy systems.
